A clear agreement before you pay.
Your written plan identifies the hospital, examination list, requested date, support and final amount. The appointment date is confirmed only after hospital acceptance.
Who provides your service?
CheckupInChina is operated by Nanjing Xurun Health Consulting Co., Ltd. (南京旭润健康咨询有限公司) We coordinate your appointment and English-language support. The named medical institution carries out examinations and provides clinical interpretation, diagnosis and treatment.
Confirmation and payment
- Choose a package or send your city, dates and requirements.
- Review the written plan for the hospital and campus, package, requested appointment date and full price. Check whether the hospital has confirmed the date or it is still awaiting acceptance.
- Pay the confirmed amount in full using the payment details supplied by our operating team.
- Receive written appointment confirmation and preparation instructions after the hospital accepts the booking. Keep this separate from your payment acknowledgement.
Submitting an enquiry does not take payment or reserve a hospital slot. A payment record alone is not hospital appointment confirmation. Check the latest written status before travelling; an outstanding request for a different date or test does not replace the accepted plan. The payment recipient is our operating company, as stated in your written payment instructions.
If you request payment on site, obtain agreement before travelling to the appointment. Confirm the exact recipient, location, payment method and deadline in your written instructions; an enquiry or someone else's arrangement does not change your booking terms.
What your confirmed package price includes
The confirmed total includes the hospital health-check fee, CheckupInChina coordination and Chinese–English reporting. For health-check visits through December 31, 2026, it also includes English-speaking accompaniment. There is no second charge at the hospital for services already included in that confirmation.
For a visit after December 31, 2026, we confirm the accompaniment arrangement and any applicable charge in the written quote before you pay. Prices are in US dollars and apply to the named package and provider; the same package name does not imply the same examinations at another hospital.
Additional services
Optional tests, treatment, separate specialist consultations, transfers, courier delivery and other services outside the confirmed scope require a separate disclosed price and your agreement before arrangement. We do not add them to your booking without approval.
Checkup and report timetable
A regular checkup takes approximately 2–3.5 hours at the hospital. Chinese original and English report delivery dates are confirmed for your selected hospital and package before payment. This excludes travel time and separately booked services. MRI, gastroscopy and colonoscopy require separate appointments, with their own preparation and report dates confirmed before booking. Other diagnostic or specialist requests are scheduled according to the agreed pathway.
Cancellation at least 48 hours before your appointment
You receive a full refund of the amount paid. The deadline is measured against your confirmed appointment time in China local time.
Cancellation less than 48 hours before your appointment
Only non-refundable costs actually incurred by the hospital or other service providers are deducted. The remaining eligible amount is refunded. We explain any deduction; this is not an automatic forfeiture of the entire booking price.
One complimentary reschedule
You may reschedule once without a coordination rescheduling fee, subject to hospital availability. Any non-refundable third-party costs already incurred will be disclosed before you confirm the new appointment.
If the hospital cancels
We first try to rearrange your appointment or offer a suitable alternative. If no acceptable alternative can be arranged, we refund the amount paid for the unavailable services.
If the agreed appointment cannot be secured
If we cannot secure the agreed appointment after payment and you do not accept an alternative, the payment is refunded in full.
Clinical suitability and follow-up
A catalogue helps compare named examinations. The treating institution decides clinical suitability and explains results. If a clinician proposes a different examination or follow-up, we clarify the changed scope and price before arranging it. A screening package does not include treatment or every possible diagnosis.
For an omission or replacement, keep the hospital-accepted examination list and revised total together. A higher-priced package does not automatically contain every lower-priced item. For a Shanghai visit, MyChinaCheckup's six planning questions provide a detailed checklist; your own accepted CheckupInChina quotation determines the booked scope.
Illustrative comparison and preparation scenarios
Two different package lists within one travel budget
Illustrative planning scenario — not an account of a completed client visit.
- Request
- Two adults are comparing packages with different examination lists.
- Possible paths
- Compare each person’s accepted base list and priced additions separately. Request a revised option if the hospital accepts changes, keeping optional items distinct.
- Must confirm
- Named hospital and campus, exact examinations, omissions, included accompaniment/report services and the total for each person. A shared budget is not one shared package.
- Next step
- Send the two package names and the items each adult wants considered. Keep the latest itemised quotation with the booking confirmation.
A couple travelling with children and limited free time
Illustrative planning scenario — not an account of a completed client visit.
- Request
- Both adults want a check-up while a child remains with them.
- Possible paths
- Ask about staggered appointments, different days or another responsible adult. Keep onward travel flexible until the hospital confirms the accepted schedule.
- Must confirm
- Supervision throughout the visit, waiting-area rules, any preparation conflict and whether both adults can avoid simultaneous examination calls. No childcare or same-day finish is promised.
- Next step
- Prepare a simple adult-by-adult schedule and ask which times are confirmed. A child’s own healthcare request needs a separate appointment.
How to request a change or refund
Contact hello@accesschinamed.com or WhatsApp +86 152 5246 8298 with your booking reference and requested change. The team will acknowledge the request and confirm the applicable next steps.
Agree report dates for your booking
CheckupInChina’s published service estimate for confirmed routine packages is 3–5 business days after all listed routine examinations are completed. Confirm whether that estimate applies to your selected hospital and package before payment. The catalogue does not independently verify a hospital deadline for every listing. Existing accepted quotations and bookings retain their agreed terms.
Agree separate dates for the hospital’s original report, any native English report, a separately prepared translation, DICOM image files and a clinician’s explanation. A routine examination visit of around 2–3.5 hours is not a report-delivery deadline. Additional imaging, specialist consultations, pathology and results-review appointments can require extra days.
The agreed English translation is distinct from a hospital-issued English document. Confirm any required signature, hospital stamp or certification with the issuer. Image-file availability and delivery also need their own confirmation. Check report and file requirements.
