What this website helps you decide

CheckupInChina helps international visitors compare named examinations, hospitals and USD package prices, then coordinate a visit. Our guides explain practical booking decisions. The selected medical institution assesses suitability, performs the examinations and interprets results.

How to read the package catalogue

Each published package is attached to a named provider and city. We present the available examination list in English so you can compare options. The catalogue is a selected collection across our 11 service cities; it is not a census of Chinese hospitals or every package they offer.

Before payment, the team confirms the hospital and campus, current examination scope, appointment date and total in writing. A catalogue entry does not represent a live hospital appointment or a hospital’s direct-booking tariff. Similar names at different providers do not establish an identical service.

Prices, examples and comparisons

Displayed prices are in USD per person for the stated coordination package. Read the inclusions and exclusions alongside the amount. Optional investigations and services outside that scope are quoted separately before you agree to them. The booking terms explain payment, cancellation and rescheduling.

Our cost guide calculates its range from the current published catalogue and shows an entry-price example for each city. The under-US$500 guide filters that catalogue and shows city examples where there is a match. Neither table is a national average, an independently surveyed market price or a recommendation of the cheapest clinical option.

Homepage examples are a starting point for comparison. Placement does not mean a hospital is medically superior or a package suits everyone. Your guided shortlist uses your city, budget and explicitly listed tests; clinical suitability remains a separate decision.

Examinations, panels and marker counts

A laboratory panel may produce several reported markers. Another list may present those markers separately. We therefore show examination labels and explain their scope rather than treating a larger headline count as proof of a better checkup.

The comparison tool matches published examination labels. “Not listed” means the label is absent from that list; it does not prove the hospital cannot provide the test. Similar labels can differ by method, body region or included components. If a choice of tests is shown, the alternatives are not automatically all included. Confirm your final written list.

Who writes and checks our guides?

The CheckupInChina coordination team writes practical information using its booking experience, current service arrangements and the materials available for the named package. Steven works in international patient coordination; Lucy works in patient support. Their roles are described on our team page.

These are coordination roles, not claims of medical authorship or clinical review. We do not label an article “medically reviewed” unless a suitably qualified reviewer has actually reviewed it and is identified. General medical explanations link to relevant public health or professional sources where needed. Those sources do not endorse our service or determine a particular hospital’s price or availability.

Real stories and client quotations

Our visitor stories are edited accounts based on supplied conversations and visit materials. Quoted feedback keeps the client’s meaning. A documented enquiry is identified as an enquiry; it is not presented as a completed appointment.

Dates, prices and report estimates in a historical story describe that visit. They do not automatically apply to a new booking. Current service terms appear separately. We protect contact details and clinical records, use authorised photographs in their relevant context, and do not turn private correspondence into a fabricated rating or an independent review.

What an update date means

An article’s update date identifies a substantive content revision. A service-confirmation date identifies the arrangements checked with our operating team. It is not a hospital accreditation date, a clinical review date or a real-time check of appointment availability.

Changes to package scope, prices or service terms are reflected when the team updates the relevant records. We also correct discrepancies reported by readers. Your written booking confirmation is the final reference for the services you purchase.

Tell us about an error

Email hello@accesschinamed.com with the page link, the statement you are querying and a brief explanation. Please leave medical reports, passport details and sensitive health information out of an initial correction request. We review the relevant record and update the page when a correction is warranted.

Follow the data behind a page

Our package and source methodology separates published prices, institutional references and appointment confirmations. Use the hospital profiles for dated official sources and the examination guides to see exact labels in the current catalogue.
