What Is Actually Included in a Women's Checkup Package?
Read three real women's examination lists to distinguish breast imaging, cervical tests, pelvic ultrasound and blood panels before choosing a package.
The useful question is not simply whether a package is called Women's, Core or Comprehensive. It is whether its written list contains the examinations you expect. A programme can list breast ultrasound without cervical cytology, or cervical cytology without an HPV test. The differences remain important even when the hospital and listed eligibility are identical.
Read the female label as the beginning of the comparison
In our catalogue, eligibility and examination scope are separate fields. All three examples below are female programmes at Clifford Hospital in Guangzhou. Their names do not establish an age-based recommendation, a reproductive-health assessment or suitability for an intimate examination. Those decisions need the clinical team and your own preferences.
For example, 569F is listed at $310.00, 1C95 at $328.00, and 6672 at $359.00. These are different lists, not successive levels of one identical examination programme.

Separate a body area from a laboratory method
Notice the distinct entries for pelvic ultrasound, cervical cytology and HPV testing. Do not turn a broad pelvic label into an assumption that a cervical sample will also be collected. MedlinePlus explains that a pelvic examination does not necessarily include a Pap test. Read its cervical-cytology explanation.
The exact ultrasound wording also matters. One example expressly names a transvaginal method; another names a transabdominal method within a longer entry. Keep that wording with the package when enquiring. A coordinator can arrange the discussion, but should not silently substitute a different examination method or treat two descriptions as clinically interchangeable.
Make a three-column personal checklist
- Named: copy an examination exactly as it appears, including brackets and exclusions.
- Needs clarification: record an unspecified panel, imaging-file arrangement or examination method.
- Requested separately: put an unlisted service here until its availability, suitability and price are confirmed.
This prevents a common comparison error: treating a blank in one list as proof that the hospital cannot provide the test. It means only that the test is not named in that package. An extra request may be possible, but it is not part of the displayed total until agreed.
Use the full list before approving the visit
The short table highlights differences; it does not replace the package pages. Read the remaining blood tests, imaging and physical examinations, then use the written confirmation checklist. Keep the provider, campus and package reference together so a similarly titled programme is not substituted inadvertently.
Save the plan code when you shortlist a package. Similar English names can represent different lists at the same hospital, so a screenshot of a heading alone is less useful than the complete package link.
For a more detailed single-city decision, open the Guangzhou comparison. To arrange your own visit, send your chosen city, two package references and available mornings. Identify any examination you want clarified; detailed medical records can follow through the agreed private channel.
