From an evening enquiry to a supported dental visit.
A Portuguese visitor needed help arranging a dental appointment in Guangzhou. A clear meeting point, English communication and a next-morning plan made the next step easier.
Report status after the visit
The report has since been sent. The separate X-ray-copy request is not marked complete solely from report dispatch.
Status reviewed 26 October 2026.
Why this visit stands out
- Speed: evening coordination followed by arrival at the hospital the next morning.
- English communication: a dedicated WhatsApp group connected the visitor, coordinator and hospital contact.
- Practical help: the correct department, exact entrance and a person to meet were agreed before arrival.
- Client satisfaction: the visitor specifically praised both the service and the dentist after the visit.

From evening coordination to next-morning care
- September 17, 21:55: the recorded coordination conversation began with the requested dental appointment and preferred morning.
- September 17, 23:30: a hospital international medical department contact introduced himself in the visit group. The arrival plan and consultation fee were discussed that evening.
- September 18, 10:06: the visitor confirmed arrival at Building 1.
- September 18, 11:49–12:04: she thanked the team and said she was very satisfied with the service and dentist.
A practical plan for the following morning
The visitor was already in Guangzhou when she contacted our shared coordination team on the evening of September 17. She wanted a dental appointment the next morning and had an existing X-ray to help explain her request.
The team checked her location, morning availability and practical payment arrangements, then coordinated with Guangdong Clifford Hospital, also known as Qifu Hospital. By that evening, a hospital contact had joined a dedicated WhatsApp group and proposed arrival after 10:00 the following morning.
The right entrance, the right department, someone to meet
Finding a hospital on a map is only part of the journey. When the visitor shared a location, the team clarified that the hospital was correct but the department shown was not the intended one. They supplied a hospital map link and agreed a specific meeting point: the north entrance of Building 1.
The hospital contact messaged again the next morning, checked when she was leaving her hotel and confirmed where to meet. At 10:06, the visitor wrote that she had arrived in Building 1. That exchange is a concrete example of coordination extending beyond an appointment message to the moment of arrival.
Dental assessment, treatment planning and clear costs
The visitor wanted a dentist to assess an existing dental concern and advise on treatment. Her earlier X-ray helped communicate the request before the appointment. The consultation and any treatment decisions belonged to the treating dentist.
Before attending, she asked about the likely cost. The hospital contact explained the consultation fee separately and said the dentist would determine a specific treatment plan after assessment. The team also explained that medical fees could be paid at the hospital after the dentist’s examination and treatment order. This gave her a clearer sequence: assessment, explanation of the plan and fees, then a decision about proceeding.
When she asked what her X-ray meant, the coordinator left the clinical interpretation to the dentist. The supplied record supports the visit and her satisfaction; it does not identify a completed procedure or document a clinical outcome.
What the client said after the visit
“Thank you so much for the service today”
A little later, she added:
“Thank you so much
Was very satisfied by the service and the dentist itself”
She also asked for her X-ray to be sent by email, and the team agreed to check with the hospital. Arranging access to visit records was part of the follow-up conversation; the messages supplied do not establish a delivery date.
Four details to settle before you go
- Existing records
- Mention relevant records you already have and ask how the clinical team would like to receive them.
- The arrival point
- Confirm the hospital, building, entrance and person to meet. This visit used the north entrance of Building 1 at Guangdong Clifford Hospital.
- Consultation and treatment costs
- Distinguish the consultation charge from treatment decisions and costs discussed after the dentist’s assessment.
- Records after the visit
- Ask whether you need a written report, imaging files or both, and agree how to request them.
Use the appointment confirmation checklist and report handover guide to put these questions into your own plan.
Planning a dental visit during your stay?
Send your city, preferred date and a short description of the appointment you want to arrange. Mention if you already have relevant records, need English support or have a departure deadline. The team can then check the appropriate department, appointment availability, consultation charges and arrival arrangements.
This case was coordinated through Access China Med, part of the same operating team as CheckupInChina. A dental appointment is a separate request, not an included benefit of a health checkup package. Next-morning availability in this individual case is not a guarantee for another booking. Assessment and treatment decisions remain with the treating dentist.
