Shanghai Women's Checkup Packages: Cytology, HPV and Pelvic Ultrasound Compared

Compare three female-labelled Huadong checkup lists with exact cervical cytology, HPV and pelvic-ultrasound wording, current prices and questions to settle.

Read the female label and the examination list separately

Our current Shanghai catalogue has 22 female-labelled options at Huadong Hospital, spread across Women and Senior categories. The Women navigation category alone therefore does not show every female-labelled programme. Nor does a female label establish that a particular intimate examination is suitable for you. Begin with the written examinations and let the clinical team review the relevant personal circumstances privately.

This comparison uses three closely related lists, making one difference easier to see. Their references are 62D1, F9A9 and 0669. They cost $320.00, $364.00 and $442.00 per person. Open the individual details before deciding; the table deliberately selects a few meaningful rows rather than replacing the complete list.

Cytology and HPV are distinct entries

The 62D1 list does not name cervical cytology or an HPV test. F9A9 names “Thin-layer cervical cytology with pathology and fungal assessment.” The 0669 list names that same entry and a separate Human papillomavirus test. The cytology wording does not, by itself, reserve every possible pathology service or a separate biopsy. Ask what sample, laboratory work and report the agreed entry covers.

If you have previous cervical results or a clinician's follow-up plan, discuss those through the agreed clinical channel. Choosing a larger screening list is not a substitute for that follow-up. Do not send sensitive results in the initial public enquiry. The first message can simply state that you need a private review of examination suitability.

Confirm how the pelvic examination will be performed

All three lists specify pelvic ultrasound with the transvaginal or transabdominal method to be confirmed before payment. That is an unresolved method choice, not a promise to perform both. Ask the clinical team which method is appropriate and obtain the resulting preparation instructions. The coordinator should put the agreed choice in your examination list so the arrival team sees the same plan.

Raise any scheduling or preparation questions before your travel morning. MedlinePlus notes that preparation and circumstances such as menstruation can affect certain test results. Follow the institution's instructions for your actual tests instead of applying a generic internet rule to the whole package.

Notice what this comparison does not include

These three lists do not name breast ultrasound or mammography. A women's package should not be assumed to contain either. If breast imaging is part of your clinical question, ask about the appropriate examination, its availability and a separate quote. Similarly, chest CT is a listed component here; it is not MRI, and the clinician must assess its suitability.

The common CEA, AFP and CA199 entry also does not mean the package rules out cancer. The National Cancer Institute's explanation distinguishes marker measurements from a diagnosis. Our comparison helps you verify scope rather than rank clinical benefit by the number of markers.

Ask for a selection you can recognise on the day

Include the package reference, available Shanghai morning, departure date and any examination question in your request. Before paying, confirm the final list, pelvic method, any separate appointment, total and report arrangement. Use the written confirmation checklist and request your Shanghai plan. If travelling together, each person can choose a different list and keep separate report permissions.
